Abstract

A package closure () comprising a neck () provided with an opening, and a cap () for closing the opening, wherein the neck () comprises a connecting portion () for connection to a package (), and a sealing portion () projecting radially inwards from the connecting portion () to interact with the cap () to form a seal between them. Before opening thereof the cap () is connected to the sealing portion () through a notch (), wherein the cap () is removable from at least a part of the sealing portion () by tearing along the notch (). The cap () is provided with a sealing part () projecting from an interior side of the cap () to interact with the sealing portion () of the neck (), so that the package closure () is resealable. The invention also relates to a device and a method for producing a package closure.
