Abstract

A check valve () that opens and closes by causing a valve element () to come into contact with and separate from a valve seat () and thereby controls a flow of fluid that flows in through an inlet () and flows out through an outlet (). The check valve () has: the inlet () provided at a downside thereof; the outlet () provided at an upside thereof; the valve seat () formed to surround the inlet (); the valve element () configured to be able to come into contact with and separate from the valve seat () vertically; and a guide portion () that has a fluid guide surface () horizontally guiding a fluid flowing in through the inlet (), and a valve element guide surface () provided on a side surface thereof, the valve element guide surface () vertically guiding the valve element.
