Abstract
A method and system for controlling access to computer resources of a computer data center. A received request to manage an initial service request targets one computer resource and in response: (i) the initial service request is mapped to standard operating procedures pertaining to the one computer resource; (ii) it is determined, based on the standard operating procedures, that additional service requests are to be spawned to service the initial service request and in response, additional service requests are spawned; (iii) the initial service request and the spawned additional service requests are correlated to the one computer resource; and (iv) for each service request (SR) of the initial service request and the spawned additional service requests, the user is granted the requested access of the one computer resource to enable the user to execute the SR, based on selection criteria for selecting a user to execute the SR.
