Abstract

A package () for containing a fluidic product. In one embodiment of the invention, the package comprises a first laminate sheet () and a second laminate sheet () thermoformed together to form a unitary body (). The unitary body () has a product containing portion () having a product cavity containing a fluidic product, a nozzle portion () for dispensing the fluidic product from the product cavity, and a break-off cap () sealing a dispensing orifice of the nozzle portion (). Each of the first and second laminate sheets () includes a layer of polyethylene (PE) and a layer of polyethylene terephthalate (PET). The layer of PE has a first thickness and the layer of PET has a second thickness, the second thickness being less than or equal to the first thickness.
