Abstract

Described are personal electronics device mounting structures including a base () with an aft surface, wherein the base is configured to fit substantially within a recess () so that the aft surface of the base () is substantially flush with an aft surface surrounding the recess () in a stowed position, and wherein at least a first portion of the base () is positioned aft of the recess and at least a second portion of the base () is positioned within the recess () in a deployed position, and a cradle () coupled to the base, wherein the cradle () comprises a pair of arms () configured to hold a personal electronics device securely in place adjacent a passenger seat back when the base () is in the deployed position.
