Abstract

A stool container is provided with a lid body () having a lid part () for sealing a container and a stool collection rod () for collecting stool, a cylindrical container body () that has a liquid reservoir () formed at the distal end thereof via a filter holding part () and has an open proximal end, and an inner plugthat is inserted from the proximal end of the container body () in to the container body (). The distal end of the inner plug () has a bottom surface () that is orthogonal to the longitudinal direction and, in the center of the bottom surface (), a scraping part () through which the stool collection rod () can be inserted. A stool collection rod guide part is formed that comprises a plurality of sloping ribs () disposed radially around the scraping part ().
