Abstract

A motor vehicle seat () includes a backrest () and a headrest () which has a headrest body () which contains at least one filling material (). The headrest body () is coupled to the backrest () by means of a maintaining element (). The headrest body () can be axially moved automatically with respect to the backrest (), at least in areas of a contact surface between a head of a passenger (A) and the headrest body (). A sliding device () is introduced into at least one section between the maintaining element () and the filling material ().
