Abstract

A non-aqueous electrolyte solution for a battery includes: an additive A which is a compound represented by formula (I); and an additive B which is at least one selected from the group consisting of an aromatic compound having at least one of a halogen atom or an alkyl group and a carbamate, and which is a compound other than carbonates or a cyclic sulfates. In formula (I), Rrepresents a group represented by formula (II) or a group represented by formula (III) and Rrepresents H, a C1-6 alkyl group, a group represented by formula (II), or a group represented by formula (III); or Rand Rrepresent groups which combine to form a benzene ring or cyclohexyl ring. In formula (II), Rrepresents a halogen atom, a C1-6 alkyl group, a C1-6 alkyl halide group, a C1-6 alkoxy group, or a group represented by formula (IV).
