Abstract

Provided herein is a liquid crystal driving apparatus and a liquid crystal display comprising the same, the liquid crystal driving apparatus including a gate driver configured to sequentially supply a basic scan pulse to gate lines for 2H period of time using a first clock signal (CPV); and a data driver configured to supply a data voltage to liquid crystal cells, wherein the gate driver provides an additional scan pulse before or after the 2H period of time using a second clock signal (CPV), the additional scan pulse being provided for a period of time overlapping a basic scan pulse being supplied to a neighboring gate line.
