Abstract

A ventilation assembly, particularly for a vehicle, has a cowl with a conduit for air flow. The conduit has a first portion and a second portion having a smaller diameter and a joining portion joining the first and second portions. A fan is disposed in the conduit. The fan has an impeller with a peripheral ring having a lip. An annular passage is formed between the ring and the conduit. The lip has a substantially frusto-conical shape; and the joining portion of the conduit has a substantially frusto-conical shape, with an inclination angle (α) at least approximately corresponding to that of the lip of the impeller. The inclination angle (α) is between 115° and 145°.
