Abstract
A device for producing a three-dimensional object from hardenable material has a construction space () for constructing the object (), a temperature control unit for controlling the temperature of the construction space (), and a preparation unit () for preparing the hardenable material in such a way that the material is in the fluid phase. A pressure generation unit () applies pressure to the fluid phase in the preparation unit. A discharge unit () is provided for discharging the hardenable material through an outlet () in the form of drops in the direction of the construction space (). In order to optimize the energy required to control the temperature that promotes bonding of the material on the object (), the temperature-controlled construction space () is surrounded by a construction space frame () in which at least the outlet of the discharge unit (), the preparation unit (), and the object support () for producing the object are accommodated.
