Abstract

A mobile terminal device () according to the present invention includes a housing () that includes a frame (), a housing () that includes a frame (), and hinges (and) that couple the frame () and the frame () around a pivotal axis (). The housings () include touch panels (). The frame () includes supporting members () that extend in a direction away from the pivotal axis () and the frame () includes supporting members () that extend in a direction away from the pivotal axis (). The hinges () generate torque in a direction opposite to that of a stress acting on the touch panels () when the housings () form a predetermined angle.
