Abstract
The invention relates to a cutting device comprising a housing () and a blade carrier () to which a blade () is secured. Said blade carrier () can be moved by means of a lever element () of an actuation device at least between a secure position and a cutting position. In the secure position, said blade () is accommodated in the housing () so that it is inaccessible to the user and in the cutting position, it protrudes out from the housing () through a housing opening (). The invention is characterized in that an extension () is arranged between a first handle () and the blade carrier ().
