A compact handheld cleaning devicecomprises a cleaning element; a motorfor driving the cleaning element; and a housingfor housing the motor; wherein the housingis shaped to form a mounded pinchgripand wherein the housingis lesser in height than a diameter and/or width of the device. Preferably the device is pressure-activated via pinching and/or squeezing of the mounded pinchgrip.
