Abstract
A solar receiver () having a radiation capturing element () about which is formed a channel () through which a working fluid flows such that thermal energy of the radiation capturing element () is absorbed by the working fluid, the channel () being shaped to provide a uniform cross sectional area along a length thereof between an inlet thereto and an outlet therefrom.
