Abstract
To provide a heat-absorbing glass plate of which amber coloring is suppressed, and which satisfies both low solar transmittance and high visible light transmittance. The heat-absorbing glass plate of the present invention is one containing iron, tin and sulfur, wherein, as represented by mass % based on oxides, the MgO content is at most 4.5%, the amount of total tin as calculated as SnOis less than 0.4%, and the ratio (SnO/SO) of the amount of total tin to the amount of total sulfur as calculated as SOis from 0.2 to 100.
