Abstract
A waterproof connector () includes a female housing () formed with cavities (), and female terminals () connected to ends of wires (W) are inserted into the cavities () from behind. Shorting terminals () are accommodated in terminal accommodating portions () in a front part of the housing () to short adjacent female terminals (). A one-piece rubber plug () is fit into a rear part of the housing () and includes through holes () through which the wires (W) are to be inserted. A rear holder () is mounted into the housing () to retain the one-piece rubber plug (). Recesses () are provided on the one-piece rubber plug () in areas behind the terminal accommodating portions (). Compressing protrusions () project from the rear holder () and are press-fit into the recesses () from behind.
