Abstract
Provided is a display () including: an insulating layer () having an opening (M); and a light-emission device () including a functional layer () and provided in the opening of the insulating layer, the functional layer being provided between a first electrode () and a second electrode () and including a light emitting layer. The insulating layer includes a low-refractive-index layer, the low-refractive-index layer being made of a material having a lower refractive index than a refractive index of a layer (A), and the layer (A) being in proximity to the insulating layer and included in the functional layer.
