Abstract
A sealing device seals an annular gap between a shaft and a housing, and includes a first annular memberprovided with a first cylindrical partthat is secured to an outer circumferential surface of the shaft, and a first flangeextending radially outward from the first cylindrical part; a second annular memberprovided with a second cylindrical partthat is secured to an outer circumferential surface of the first cylindrical part, and a second flangeextending radially outward from the second cylindrical part; and an endless resin sealing ringdisposed between the first flangeand the second flange, the sealing ring providing a seal between itself and a shaft hole in the housing, and between itself and one of the first flangeand the second flangeon a low pressure side.
