Abstract
This paper sheet processing device is provided with a casing (), an intake unit (), an identification unit (), a second transportation unit () for transporting sheets of paper substantially horizontally, a plurality of collection units () for collecting the sheets of paper transported by the second transportation unit (), and vaned rollers () provided correspondingly with respect to the collection units (). With regards to any two of the collection units () that are adjacent to one another, the direction of rotation of the vaned roller () corresponding to one of the collection units () and the direction of rotation of the vaned roller () corresponding to the other collection unit () are opposite each other.
