Abstract

System, method and/or apparatus repairs an area of damaged mesh in a sifter screen (). Such sifter screens () have woven wire mesh () stretched, tensioned and/or secured over a supporting frame () having cells (). Damage occurs to the mesh () over certain cells (). A plug () having a mesh layer () inserts and/or locks into place in the damaged cell (). The mesh layer () of the plug () is flush with the mesh () on the sifting screen (). Ridges () and/or ledges () secure the plug () in place by engaging a lip () in the damaged cell () to snap-fit the plug () in place.
