Abstract
Disclosed are a highly ionic conductive zirconia electrolyte and a high-efficiency solid oxide fuel cell using the same. The highly ionic conductive zirconia electrolyte is configured such that a scandia (ScO) stabilized zirconia (ZrO) electrolyte is simultaneously doped with cerium oxide (CeO) and at least one oxide of gadolinium oxide (GdO), samarium oxide (SmO), and ytterbium oxide (YbO) so that an ionic conductivity drop rate is mitigated.
