Abstract
A gateway apparatus () receives a request frame transmitted from a system controller () to an indoor unit(), and determines whether a sensor specified in the request frame is a sensor-A () which is connected with the indoor unit() or a sensor-B () which is not connected with the indoor unit(). When the sensor specified in the request frame is the sensor-B (), the gateway apparatus () acquires a measurement value from the sensor-B (), and responds to the system controller () with the acquired measurement value of the sensor-B ().
