Abstract
The present invention concerns a lamp () having a number of plates (). The plates () are moveable between a position where the plates () form a common outer surface and a position where the plates () are separated from each other. By means of the plates the shape and appearance of the lamp () may be amended between having the form of for instance a closed sphere and a more or less open form. The plates () are placed on upper and lower curved arms (). The curved arms () are connected to an upper ring () and a lower ring (). The curved arms () are moved by movement of the lower ring () towards and away from the upper ring ().
