Abstract
Expansion chuck () with a base body () and an expansion sleeve () which is surrounded by a receptacle () for a tool, wherein the expansion sleeve () inside the base body () and at the front end () of the receptacle () is connected pressure-tight to the base body (), thus forming a pressure chamber () between the base body () and the expansion sleeve (), characterized in that the expansion sleeve () at the front end () of the base body () extends radially outward to an connecting section (), where it is connected to the base body () in a pressure-tight manner.
