Abstract

Electric scissors (A,B) is provided with: a first blade (A,B); a second blade (A,B); a toggle link mechanism (A,B) including a first link (A,B), a second link (A,B), and a drive shaft (A,B); and a drive section (). One end of the first link (A,B) is rotatably connected to a transmission portion (A,B) of the first blade (A,B). One end of the second link (A,B) is rotatably connected to a transmission portion (A,B) of the second blade (A,B). The other end of the first link (A,B) is rotatably connected to the other end of the second link (A,B) through the drive shaft (A,B). The drive section () is configured to open/close the first blade (A,B) and the second blade (A,B) by displacing the drive shaft (A,B) in a direction perpendicular to an axial direction of the drive shaft (A,B).
