Abstract

A molded connector () includes a terminal fitting () connected to a cable (), a terminal holding member () including a resin and holding the terminal fitting (), and a molded resin portion () formed by injection molding using a mold () and holding the terminal holding member () and an end portion of the cable (). The terminal holding member () includes a main body () holding the terminal fitting () and protruding portion () that is formed protruding from the main body () and includes a tip end surface () in contact with an inner surface of a cavity () in the mold () during injection molding. The protruding portion () is locked to a locking portion () provided on the mold (to restrict the movement of the terminal holding member () during injection molding. At least a part of the protruding portion () is fusion-bonded to the molded resin portion ().
