Abstract
A seat system () for a vehicle, includes a plurality of seats (to) which are disposed next to one another and at least two of which are pivotable about a common pivot axis (S). At least one of the seats () that are pivotable about the common pivot axis (S) is designed in such a way that when the seat is unlocked and the backrest thereof is pivoted by more than a predefined angle of inclination, the adjacent other seat () is blocked in the unlocked state or at least the folding movement of the backrest thereof is dampened or prevented.
