Abstract
A vehicleincludes a prime mover engine, a drive wheel, and a hydrostatic transmission. The prime mover enginehas a substantially vertical prime mover output shaft. The hydrostatic transmissionhas a hydraulic pumpwith a substantially vertical pump input shaft. A drive linkdrivingly connects the pump input shaftto the prime mover output shaft. The hydraulic motorhas a substantially vertical output shaft. An interface connectorestablishes fluid pressure communication between the hydraulic pump and the hydraulic motor. A gear set is intermediate the hydrostatic transmissionand drive wheel.
