Abstract
A display unit of the present invention includes, in an insulating liquid (), migrating particles (), and a porous layer () formed using a fibrous structure (), and the fibrous structure () includes non-migrating particles () having light reflectivity different from light reflectivity of the migrating particles () and being at least partially modified with a surfactant.
