Abstract
The invention relates to a column that can be calibrated, in particular for a piece of furniture, wherein the columnthat can be calibrated has a stationary part, at least one movable part, and a calibrating means, and the movable partcan be transferred from a retracted state to a plurality of extended states, and wherein a calibration position of the columncoincides with the position of the movable partin an extended state. Such a column can be used in a piece of furniture as an extendable column.
