A vehicle headlight deviceaccording to the present invention includes a first lampthat has a light source, an optical system, a rolling mechanism, and a control circuit. The optical systemincludes a first wedge prismand a second wedge prismin which an incident ray from the light sourceis deflected and projected. The rolling mechanismrotates the first wedge prismabout a rotation axis. The control circuitcontrols the rolling mechanismso that the first wedge prismis rotated in a direction opposite to a vehicle bank direction in accordance with a vehicle bank angle d. The first wedge prismand the second wedge prismare disposed so that their surfaces perpendicular to the rotation axis face each other. The first wedge prismis disposed so that a wedge angle adirects in a road surface direction. The first wedge prismis disposed so as to be rotatable about the rotation axis.
