Abstract

A pneumatic tire comprising a tread portion provided with a middle land portionwhich is arranged between a central main grooveand a shoulder main groove. The middle land portionis provided with an inner middle lateral grooveand an outer middle lateral groove. The inner middle lateral groovecomprises a first inclined portionthat extends axially outwardly from the central main grooveat an angle θof from 10 to 40 degrees with respect to a circumferential direction of the tire, and a second inclined portionthat is inclined at an opposite direction to the first inclined portionso as to extend axially inwardly, and a bent portionconnecting the first inclined portionand the second inclined portion. The outer middle lateral grooveis communicated with the second inclined portionof the axially inner middle lateral groovewithout including an axially outermost groove edgeof the inner middle lateral groove, and is communicated with the shoulder main groove. The axially outer middle lateral grooveis inclined in the same direction of the first inclined portionof the inner middle lateral grooveat an angle θof from 30 to 70 degrees with respect to the circumferential direction of the tire.
