A mobile telecommunications network includes a core network () having content processing means () operable to provide a core network service relating to content, and a radio access network () having radio means for wireless communication with terminals () registered with the network, wherein the radio access network () includes a local source of content (). The network is arranged to provide the content processing means () core network service in relation to the content of the local source.
