Abstract
An electromagnetic brake () including a plurality of elastic members () which are arranged between an engagement surface of a brake pad () and an engagement surface of a hub () symmetrically about a center of rotation of the shaft (). The biasing directions of the plurality of elastic members are in a rotational direction of the shaft.
