Abstract

A device () and a method are provided for treating a porous filtration medium () having a receiving unit () with of a receiving part () and a base part (). The porous filtration medium () can be lifted by the receiving part () from a lower part () of a filtration device (), and the receiving part () with the porous filtration medium () can be mounted on the base part (). The receiving part () is latchable to the base part (). The base part (), towards the filtration medium () has an incubation chamber () connected to a base part () outlet () that faces away from the receiving part (), and the outlet () has a projection onto which a receiving vessel () containing a solvent () for dissolving the porous filtration medium () can be detachably pushed on.
