Provided is a torque-transmission jointthat is able to reduce the thrust force that is transmitted between the output shaftof an electric motorand a worm shaftwithout generating noise. A shock-absorbing memberthat is made using an elastic material is assembled between a driving-side transmission memberthat is supported by the output shaftand a driven-side memberthat is supported by the worm shaft. Held sectionsof the shock-absorbing memberare located between the side surfaces in the circumferential direction of driving-side arm sectionsof the driving-side transmission memberand side surfaces in the circumferential direction of driven-side arm sectionsof the driven-side transmission member.
