Abstract

The present invention relates to an arrangement () for a merchandise display system. The arrangement comprises a detector () arranged to detect the presence of a person () in the proximity of a display region () adapted to accommodate a piece of merchandise (), a temperature adjustment device () arranged to adjust the temperature in the proximity of the display region, and a controller () configured to, based on the detection, control the temperature adjustment device. The present invention is advantageous in that the temperature difference may contribute to how the piece of merchandise is perceived by the person.
