Abstract

An arrangement for providing a vehicle, in particular a track bound and/or road vehicle, with electric energy, comprising a receiving deviceadapted to receive an alternating electromagnetic field and produce an alternating electric current by electromagnetic induction. The receiving device comprises three phase lines,, connected on one side to a common star point, and on the other side to a bridge rectifier. Each phase line includes an inductanceand a capacitancehaving a resonant frequency. The rectifier comprises a number of controllable switchesand a control device to switch the switches on and off at a frequency smaller than the resonant frequency. During operation the incident electromagnetic field induces a voltage in the inductances and a corresponding alternating current flows through the phase lines, is rectified by the rectifier, and is provided to the load
