Abstract
A method and a device for moving objects () on shelves () of a storing systems by operating a shuttle () between a plurality of ends of said shelves comprising the steps of engaging a first strip () at a first side of a support head () of said shuttle, engaging a second strip (') at a second side of said support head of said shuttle () opposing said first side, and displacing said shuttle () along said shelves () by pushing and retracting said strips (′). Propelling means () are arranged to displace said shuttle () along said shelves () by pushing and retracting said strips (′).
