Abstract
An electric vehicle () includes a charging circuit (), a battery () and a driving electric motor (), and an air compressor (), an air storage tank (), a turbine () and a generator (). Air is compressed and stored in the air storage tank when the air compressor starts up. The air storage tank is provided with a switch valve, and under the control of the switch valve the air stored in the air storage tank is fed to the turbine. By means of providing an air compressor, an air storage tank, a turbine and a generator, and using air energy to generate power and using the battery to supply power in parallel, the continuous mileage of the electric vehicle is increased. In addition, the service life of the battery is prolonged, because the battery is used in a low depth of charge/low depth of discharge manner.
