Abstract
A vehicle lamp control device () includes: an artificial light determination unit () which, on the basis of an image of the surroundings of a vehicle C captured by a camera () mounted on the vehicle C, determines whether or not the vehicle C is located in an artificial light environment, i.e., an environment illuminated by artificial light which is light provided by artificial illumination; and a lamp controller () which, on the basis of the result of determination by the artificial light determination unit (), controls turning on or turning off of a lamp () which outputs an illumination light to the outside of the vehicle C.
