A resilient motor mount () for a power toothbrush () configured to limit the axial and rotational displacement of a shaft () of a motor (). The displacement limits are designed to protect the toothbrush () from physical damage and to prevent rotational slipped poles, i.e. 'cogging' errors, between the permanent magnets and poles of the resonating toothbrush motor ().
