Abstract
A method and system for notifying a transport layer address are disclosed. The method includes: a first base station sending transport layer address information of an X2 gateway connected to the first base station to a second base station, wherein, the first base station is a home base station (step); and the second base station initiating an X2 connection establishment flow according to the received transport layer address information of the X2 gateway (step). The system includes: a first base station, configured to: send transport layer address information of an X2 gateway connected to the first base station to a second base station; wherein, the first base station is a home base station; and the second base station, configured to: initiate an X2 connection establishment flow according to the received transport layer address information of the X2 gateway.
