Abstract

A charge managing system includes a power receiving devicefor receiving, from a commercial power supply, power to be used for charge, a storage batteryfor accumulating power to be used for charge, a rapid chargerfor performing charge to an electric vehicle, and a charge managing serverfor controlling the rapid chargerand calculating a charge capacity of the rapid charger. The charge managing serverincludes a communicating unitfor acquiring information on power that can be used for charge from the power receiving deviceand the storage battery, and rated output information on the rapid charger, and a charge-capacity calculating unitfor calculating a charge capacity of the rapid charger, based on power that can be used for charge from the power receiving deviceand the storage battery, and rated output power of the rapid charger
