Abstract
A cover for a transport refrigeration unit has at least one door () having a body formed of an inner sheet () and an outer sheet () and a joint () formed between the respective peripheral edges ((),) of the inner and outer sheets such that the respective peripheral edges are integrally bonded together to provide a cavity () between the inner and outer sheets, with at least one of the inner sheet and the outer sheet formed of a flame retardant material. In an embodiment, the inner sheet () is formed of a flame retardant thermoplastic olefin sheet and the outer sheet () is formed of a non-flame retardant thermoplastic olefin sheet.
