Abstract

[Object] To effectively reduce a noise generated during engaging operation of a tongue. [Solution] A sliderheld in a non-locking position, at which the sliderdoes not lock a latch, turns together with the latchand moves so as to enter a space between the latchand the locking pinduring operation of the latch. A front endof the slidercomes in contact with a front endof a damperbefore coming in contact with a stopof an operation button, and the slidermoves while compressing a damper spring. As a result, the movement of the slideris slowed down. When the front endis in contact with the stop, the slideris positioned in a locking position, at which the sliderlocks the latchpositioned in the latching position. The sliderthat has been slowed down comes in contact with the stop, reducing the noise generated when the tongue engages with the buckle
