Abstract

A driver circuit includes normally-on transistors (Q, Q), control circuits () that control the transistors (Q, Q), a capacitor () connected between power source nodes () of the control circuit (), a power source () connected between power source nodes () of the control circuit (), a MOSFET () connected between the power source nodes (), a control circuit () that turns on the MOSFET () when an output voltage VO reaches approximately 0 V, and a startup circuit that includes a Zener diode () connected in parallel to the capacitor () and that can charge the capacitor () with a Zener voltage even when the MOSFET () is off.
