Abstract
A battery unit () comprising a plurality of electrochemical cells (), which each have an electrode arrangement () comprising a cathode contact-making element () and an anode contact-making element (), and an accommodating device () comprising a plurality of accommodating units (), which are each separated from one another by side walls (), wherein in each case the electrode arrangement () of an electrochemical cell () of the battery unit () is introduced into the accommodating units (), and the accommodating units () are closed by at least one electrolytic barrier (), which is connected to the accommodating device (), in such a way that the closed accommodating units () with the electrode arrangements () arranged therein form the electrochemical cells () of the battery unit ().
