Abstract

An oscillator () includes a spiral spring () made from a paramagnetic or diamagnetic material and an assembled balance wheel () having a shaft () on which the following elements are fitted: a balance wheel (), a plate () and a collet () rigidly connected with the spiral spring (). The maximum diameter (Dmax) of the shaft is less than 3.5, or even 2.5, or even 2 times the minimum diameter (D) of the shaft on which one of the elements is fitted, or the maximum diameter (Dmax) of the shaft is less than 1.6, or even 1.3 times the maximum diameter (D) of the shaft on which one of the elements is fitted.
